Fair enough. It sounds like you have gotten some opinions and you are likely a properly screened candidate for UPPP. Sorry if I caused you any worry, it is just that I have seen so many times how that operation has backfired on people (myself included), and I like to warn people about the risks involved.

Anyways, I wonder if you had considered the idea of doing the procedure in reverse order; phase 2, then phase 1. In other words, MMA+GA first, then waiting about 8 months to see the result, reassess, then do palate surgery last, if needed. I have read several docs who wrote that results are similar when MMA+GA is done in isolation. For example,
