I need all of the experience that this forum has to offer so I really appreciate your honesty. I am very afraid of soft tissue removal because of the possible negative side effects. I have read that sometimes the scar tissue can make the apnea worse. The reason for having the soft tissue removal prior to the MMA/GA is because I need braces and an upper jaw exspansion prior to the MMA/GA procedure so it will be a year or a year and a half before the MMA/GA can happen. Since my apnea is so severe(409 a night)and I am really suffering the cocktails (Z Palatopalsty, Hyoid Suspension and the Surgical Assisted Palatal Expansion w/Sarpe)will hopefully give me some relief prior to the MMA/GA. I will have the sleep endoscopy first and maybe the ENT will change his mind about the soft tissue removal. Thanks for sharing.
