I have a lot of anger too. As you may know, I didn't even have sleep apnea. I did the LAUP on a whim to correct social snoring. I just happened to have some extra money one month and I answered an advertisement on the internet. I am paying for it now, and I will have to pay for the rest of my life. One of the ways that I manage my anger is to channel that into informing other people about the risks. I do it because nobody was talking about it when I first looked into it. All that was out there was that it would have a 90 percent chance of "success" and that I would have a sore throat and need to eat jello. Man, that info was 180 degrees wrong. There are serious risks and not to mention how the medical community is moving away from it. Just see what doctor Dement wrote in the Promise of Sleep about UPPP, or see hwo Dr. L. is modifying his approach to soft palate surgeries because he knows about the damage caused by scar tissue. It is too late for me, but I can tell other people not to walk across the mine-field.
