Well you helped me with all the good info., so your strategy of helping others is working for me!I guarantee thats more info than 100 different dr visits would glean. Yep, i remember how this "new procedure to stop snoring" was all the talk on stupid news spots. Its hard to believe they do these things willee nillee. Right away, I noticed that i coudnt make a "cla" sound anymore. You know, like the sound used when speaking arabic, other foreign langualges. That could be real important to those who know those languages and have to use them. Once the uvula is gone, no more "claa" no matter how hard u try. Moron Dr NEVER mentioned this. Yes pain was amazing. I remember working the day after but then not the next day...WOW. And not one bit did it give better sleep. I only wish I could find info on results of post palate surgery then post MMA cases that have ruied voice like me.
Dr LW at baylor is willing to redo me, but i am terrified and, i cant get blue cross to pay Dr LW at Baylor because he is out of network. I have been told after nasondoscopy that there is a slight divit in my pharyngeal flap also...I think this could have been caused by an intubation emergency, because my two front teeth were chipped during MMA surgery. Maybe tube was quiclky pulled out, god only knows. I sure know ill never know!!
So Captain, when was your surg and when did osa get worse over time?
Also, can you advise on where to see those articles by D and L?
Thanks
