Captain,
Yes , I had LAUP in 1992. I imagine my ENT was very new at it. The only good thing is that I never went back for more....this doc did it in steps. And he did want to take out more tissue when i said that there was no change in sleep.
Can you say what is different about LAUP vs UPPP? I assume UPPP is with a knife. btw-one of the first things I noticed after MMA was swallowing would push liquids up my nose...so from then on i have to be careful and think when i drink. Also, yes , throat is always dry. Thing is, that seemed to become true only after MMA. Interestinly enough, a speech therapist told me to always drink when i have to talk. In situations where there is stress/anger involved, my voice goes totally. There must be more people coming about who have had these two operations, and the concuurrent side effects.
Thanks alot Captain.
