Who did the surgery? It can be hard indentify the source of airway obstruction. But has any surgeon commented on its possible source ?(i.e. palate or tongue based). The MMA pulls the palate forward but if there is significant scarring, it may not have as much effect. One potential would be to have palatal surgery that relieves the obstruction. But I would be very careful when considering the skill of the surgeon.
