Posted by SomeDudeinCali on January 22, 2009 at 09:22:04:For some reason I have success in sleeping on my back (supine position). What strikes me is that this is completely opposite to what I've read online for sleep apnea sufferers. I feel refreshed when I sleep on my back and I do not have a racing heart beat when I wake up. Is there any explanation to that?
Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but when I put my chin up, it seems as if my airways open up too. Is there a surgery out there that would simply take a tissue out of the back of my throat to enlarge the airway? Because I think that's what the problem is. I know it's a part of UPPP surgery, but I don't want my uvula removed.
