Non-functional,

Just spoke with my father. His gut feeling was that the TMJ
surgery would not be necessary. He had done a few selected
cases doing both TMJ and MMA and had 100% success rate. And
that he thought the relapse rate was lower in men than women.
LW is more aggressive in that regard than other surgeons. He
would be happy to take a look at your MRI if you can email a
copy (if ok with Sandman). Again- this is just opinion. As you
are realizing, you ask 10 different doctors the same question
and you will often get 10 different answers.
