MTV's True Life - sleep apnea

It's been a looooong time since I've posted here...

I was cast in a reality documentary show on MTV called True Life. The episode is on sleep disorders, and it premiers on Sunday, February 1st. I think it's in the early afternoon around 2pm. Yes, I know it's Superbowl Sunday, but it may not be at the same time, and you can possibly Tivo it.

I had reality cameras follow me around the past six months, including the OR at Stanford. I have almost all of the surgeries that are available. I hope everyone watches it.

I did this to educate the rest of the country on sleep apnea. The filming was very personal, and slightly invasive, but I did it to help and inform people.

The show is called True Life: I can't sleep. My name is Newell and I'm 26 years old. I have a blond mowhawk at the beginning of the show. The show is about my disorder, sleep apnea, and two other individuals who suffer from different types of sleep disorders.

You will have to search for the show True Life on mtv.com and see what time it is playing in your area. The show is also rerun a lot, and will be available online, with a short blog by me, and my contact info.
