I am sorry about your dilemma. I want to offer you some advice. First of all, I very highly recommend the second of the two options "nasal = MMA" over the first option that includes the uvulopalatal flap. MMA is much more likely to produce lasting beneficial effects. Pharnygeal operations do not have a very good track record. For this reason, I recommend you seek out an Oral and Maxilofacial (OMF) surgeon who has a lot of experience doing MMAs. You should try the faculties of dentistry (OMF surgery is often a department in a university's faculty of dentistry). You need an OMF surgeon.
