Thanks for the info. do you mean your part of the bill is 30,000? I am afraid of the UP3 and some of the other procedures too. I feel that they are out dated and not helpful. I will not have anything done(except the deviated septum repair)until I consult with Dr. LW on the 27th of this month. I will be following your surgery and recovery very closely. You will probably still be in the hospital when I am there having my consult. I will be thinking of you and praying for you. Have you bought a good blender? Also there is a website that sells medical supplies to people that have had jaw surgeries. One item of interest to me is the bag with the feeding tube attached to it. It is much easier and faster to feed yourself rather than using a large syringe. Also I am going to the libary and check out a bunch of audio books (i am a big reader). I have read that lack of focus and concetration is a problem (for awhile) after surgery. Check with your library they might let you have the audio and dvds for an extened time if you explain why. My library is going to do that for me. I am hoping this will also take my mind off of the pain and discomfort also. Don't forget to add powdered protien and fiber to your meals. I hear the pain meds. can make you very constipated. Get my email address from Sandman and if there is anything I can do for you please let me know.
