If you want to go to KL, you should at least visit him and find out what he thinks about your case. Reading all of the cost associated with the operation, I feel like I got a great deal for my MMA. I have Blue Cross Insurance and my MMA was done by KL over 6 months ago. My out of pocket was $22K! I stayed in Palo Alto for a total of 10 days for about $2K. Look into the details in choosing your surgeon. You are not going to find another surgeon who is willing to see you on Saturday and Sunday in his office, just to make you comfortable during recovery.
