I'm in a similar situation. I'm 6'2 and 175 pounds, which is not considered "overweight." However, I have a small frame and a higher percentage of body fat than I would like, especially in my neck area. When I was a teenager I could eat whatever I wanted, but now my metabolism isn't as good. I have to be much more careful about what I eat.

Definitely try to exercise and eat the right foods. The key is consistency. It is better to exercise 30 minutes each day than to do nothing all week and then bust your butt for 2 hours on Saturday :-) Figure out a way to make exercise part of your daily routine. Walk somewhere instead of driving / taking the bus. Lift some dumbbells or soup cans while watching TV. If you're one of those people that uses a daily planner or task list, add "exercise" to your schedule so you won't forget to do it. If you just start small and work up from there, I think you'll find that after a couple of weeks you'll have more energy.
