Sounds like you are doing great. I am so happy for you. I felt very comfortable with Dr.L.W. and his staff. I will need the MMA procedure and some soft tissue removed also. Dr. L.W. has his own technique for the upp and it is not as invasive as the traditional one. My uvala is to long and my soft palate is very long. The cartlidge that is supposed to be on the knob of the left jaw joint has slipped some so he will stabalize that also. I will have braces first for about 6 months and then the surgery. Dr. L.W. spent two hours with me and explained everything in great detail. I am so glad that I went to see him. Dr. L.W. was very comfortable with me meeting and talking to prior patients. This is the first time a Dr. has let me do this. Previosly I was told no it is against HIPPA. But with consent I know this is not true. He told me that one area of my airway is 1.5mm and my oxygen saturation at night is 80%. So I am really ready to do this. Have you slept the entire night through yet? Are you dreaming more? Do you feel more rested yet? I am really happy for you and am grateful that you have been posting please continue with the updates you are really helping those of us that haven't had the procedure yet.
