My intention was to try to provide accurate information when I started posting on the forum (I am sure "accurate information" may be subject to debate to some people). It is very important for surgeons to always try to improve their results and study their failures. I do believe that most surgeons follow the golden rule of "do not harm" when treating patients. Unfortunately, some do not have sufficient insight. I think patients need to do their homework and understand their options as well as the potential risks and benefits with each option. I hope I have been able to help some of you. My next topic is MMA. Lots have already been discussed in the “ask a sleep surgeon” section.
