Silvergirl, good luck. Hope that the your surgery works well. I am sure that you will see an improvement. According to statistics, with the MMa, you would have about a 90% chance of improvement, and about a 43% chance of being "cured" entirely (with an AHI below 5).

If I may offer you some advice, it would be to have realistic goals. Before you do it, ask yourself how you would define success. You have to bear in mind that not everybody is cured of sleep apnea by MMA, but at least most people are much better off. It is not good for people to set their hopes too high, because they might end up disappointed with what are actually really nice gains.
