Dear Captain:
Thanks for grounding me. I want so badly to be cured, sleep apnea free, that I allow myself to believe that will be the only outcome. The pressure of the Bi-Pap machine is set at 15 for inhale and 12 for exhale. I get air in my abdomain and chest and my ears pop. The pain of the impacted air wakes me up. So if I can have the apneas and blockage reduced enough so that the pressure of the bipap is bearable then the surgery will be a success. That is the reality but I forget, thanks again for getting my feet back on the ground. I get the braces on the 23rd of this month. Dr. LW (Dallas, TX) sent me to this ortho here in houston; Dr. LA and he is awesome. Dr. LW's treatment plan does not include the SARPE.(My previous surgeon wanted me to have the SARPE procedure)The ortho Dr. is using the Damon System braces and this will take care of the narrow palate problem. Thanks, Silvergirl
