The orthodontist told me today that it will take 12-18 months for the braces to get my bite ready. I can't go that long with out some kind of relief so I am going to try the Bi-Pap again. I am going to my internist to get sleeping pills (I know better than to take any narcotic w/o using the Bi-Pap). My jaws are really messed up so are some of my teeth. Sounds like it is some type of deformity I was born with. I just see small jaws. Anyway, my past problems with the Bi-Pap was air getting into my stomach and chest. This is painful and will wake me up. It also started making my ears pop. But this did not happen in the first few weeks of using the Bi-Pap but I can't remember doing anything different. I can't use the full face mask because the least bit of movement and I hear leaks. I have a nose mask with a chin strap that I will try. I have started having PVC's (hear skips a beat). I am experiencing a lot of symptoms from the apnea and can barely stand it. I have even briefly considered a trach; just till I can have the surgery. Anybody have any experience and/or thoughts on that? I am so tired of being tired. Silvergirl
