Not sure, but to my best recollection, using just oxygen to treat sleep apnea can make the apneas longer and for sure do not fix the problem.

If it were me I would get a second opinion from a board certified sleep doc in your area. You are correct about feeling concerned.

I'll do some more research into the possibility oxygen only causing more serious problems.

If anyone on the forum has any experience with this let me know.
