Having the AHI only 16 but significant desaturation can mean: 1. Significant underscoring of the AHI. 2. Significant pulmonary issue or underlying medical problems causing the hypoxemia. The ideal person that you need to see is a sleep physician that is also a pulmonary specialist to get it sorted out. It will be easy to find one as they compose about half of the sleep physicians. I wouldn't just use oxygen as it is not going to be sufficient.
