Brian, Well, I am checking on braces at UAB here in Birmingham. They say they are interested in my case, but that i need 1 more appt with the head cheese before they decide to take me on. It will save me $2500 if they do me. I think it really should be given to me considering it was teenage braces for an overbite that compromised my airway in the first place AND that this is the 2nd MMA for me. And that i took no action against the bad surgeon. (thats not my style).
I talked to the lady at Dr LW and asked her if anyone has come thru their ofice with a ruined voice, and she said not, so that always worries me. Anyway, Im resolved to get going on it even if I lose the rest of my business...down to 1/3 of what I used to have, and only can work a few days/week. I worked 3 days last week and my heart gave PVC's for 5 days. Keep recovering
Silvergirl-Have you considered hiring lawyer to fight ins? Did you ever hear of the Gap exclusion?
