Bear in mind that there are multiple methods of measuring the distance that the jaws are advanced. So one surgeon's numbers aren't always comparable to another surgeon's numbers. For details, see sleepsurgeon's recent comments in this forum.

I had a small upper jaw and a very small lower jaw. The upper was advanced 10mm, the lower 15mm. I look fine now. I imagine they could have done 13mm upper and 25mm lower and I still would have looked fine.
