KL's insurance person steered me through the whole process. She did a lot of work for me and I couldn’t have done it without her help. She told me to make some calls to confirm things with the insurance and I did. According to her, having double coverage is not unusual, especially in Silicon Valley so they are very knowledgeable. I don’t think it works if you get two insurances yourself but if one is your own and the other your wife’s, it should be just fine.
