It was aperfect storm of an getting a LAUP back wehn it was new, (probably one of first by a young ENT), then 8 years later an MMA by a terrible surgical team, and a very slight submucous cleft which i never knew about, and which never affected what had been a very choice voice. There perhaps was some unknown trauma to some area deep in the throat, maybe an intubation emergency because some dr;s hint at a scarred place on the pharyngeal flap. I know my two front teeth were chipped after surgery . I tried to go out last night and socialize-I left very mad and will vow to stay home once more because it was so hard to talk in public. Speaking with volume is impossible/embarassing.
