I have had RF Turbinectomy twice to no avail. My right turbinate is still quite swollen and I believe it contributes to my apnea. I am considering MMA and my surgeon recommends that I have a slightly unconventional turbinectomy during the MMA surgery. He says that he can see the turbinate from "under" and snip it out.

Has anyone had a similar surgery? It would be great to hear your experience.
