I had an MMA 16 months ago. Most of the swelling was gone within 3 months but there was some residual puffiness in my face for another 3 months after that.

My numbness slowly improved over the first 9 months or so. I haven't seen much change since then. My lower lip and parts of my chin tingle a bit when I touch them. The other nerves in my face made a complete recovery.
