chinstrap as cure for OSA?

I just saw an ad on the internet for a chinstrap product that claims to cure apnea by repositioning the jaw and tongue while you sleep. Has anyone tried this? I've already had UPPP, won't have any more surgery after THAT experience, and am too claustrophic for the CPAP. I'm starting to worry that my apnea is coming back because I'm experiencing more daytime fatigue.
Thanks.
