I have a clear very tacky blob that builds in my left passage that only builds up if i talk. It is very deep, not near my nose, and no doc knows why. I think it is related to my incompetent pharyngeal sealing. (from my 2001 botched mma). When i speak, i have to mimic as if im putting my head underwater and close my nose off. That unnatural action is pushing stuff somehow.
I wonder if there would be a salt irrigation that could help you.
