Chin Pain - Neurontin

Post MMA, has anyone experienced sharp chin pain? The pain is isolated and constant, occurs aboout about 3/4 of an inch below my right incisor, and throbs periodically.

My surgeon has prescribed Neurontin as the pain may be related to nerve irritation.

I'm 3.5 weeks post-op with the arch bars still in place.
