Sorry I didn't check here sooner! Dr KL thought there was a chance the tonsillectomy etc might be enough to fix what was then mild-moderate apnea. After the surgery, the apnea became worse, so we went with the jaw surgery. Looking back, it's hard to say if I would do both again. Everyone is so different--it's possible if I had the MMA first, I would have had the soft tissue surgery later. 2 weeks after the MMA, I am glad I did it (I couldn't say that 2 weeks after the other surgery!) I will post more in an update of my surgery.
