I had my MMA 2/24/09. I noticed a significant improvement
after a few weeks. Then I had a rough 5 weeks or so. I wasn't
sleeping well and felt miserable. I am still not exactly sure what
happened. I think part of it was that my surgeon put me on
Klonipin for a couple of months and that made me tired during
the day. But it has been almost 4 months and I can say it took
almost all of that time for my sleep pattern to begin to
normalize and notice consistent results. I think I got depressed
when I wasn't feeling well and that made things worse. Many
things can keep someone from feeling well post MMA. These
would include insomnia, underlying mood disorders,
dehydration, poor nutrition, delay in normalizing sleep
architecture, etc.

I hope you have continued improvement.

Brian
