Hi Pedals,
I am currently 23 mos post-MMA. Right after the surgery, I had similar problems with slurring. For me, improvements occurred with a combination of 2 things...jaw mobility and feeling coming back inside my mouth. With the advancement, the inside of my mouth actually feels noticeably larger so I guess I had some adjusting to do.
