Captin:

I was reading what happened to you. Thank God the CPAP
worked for you after MMA. Sleep apnea is such a cruel
disease. It has been torturing me to death slowly. Every day
is a cruel torched for me.

I have tried an Auto Pap for a few day lately, but I has failed.

Also because I use a full face mask I am afraid it might hurt
the surgery. I could use a nasal mask, but they push back the
upper jaw or the nose.

Besides, I learned for a Cpap tech ( not from a sleep doctor)
that I had a high leak. I figured out findly it was a mouth leak
and got a full face mask. But that failed (not with the leak) but
with my sleep apnea.

Like you I had LAUP (but I had it twice) also I had UPPP,
Turbinate surgery twice, Somnooplasty surgery, Sepal
surgery twice, and sinus reduction surgery. These other
surgeries were a long time ago. The all have not helped my
sleep apnea.

Now I am considering the new Provent device, tongue base
reduction (the surgeon said it was a new way), the pillar
procedure and trying the tongue suction Karl appliace again.

Thank you for reply
