If the centrals are being induced by CPAP pressure, then perhaps ASV will work better for you. I have heard that ASV works great for some, but really badly for others.

18 months ago, I had an MMA which was not successful in alleviating my obstructive apnea (my airway is still too narrow for my large tongue, I think). Then last year I was diagnosed with complex apnea. The doc thinks that even if the surgery had eliminated the obstructive events, I would still have centrals. He thinks I was simply born that way.
