"Submucossal glossectomy with plasma mediated device" is just the medical terminology for tongue coblation surgery. I had it awhile back. (And before that I had tongue somnoplasty). The coblation is plasma mediated. That's all. Clinical results of coblation is about the same as somnoplasty. It helps some ppl some of the time.

In any case, if you haven't had either the coblation or somno to the tongue, then it's something to consider.
