You know a lot. But Docs say I know a lot too.I think most docs do not get into what they are going to do to
you that clearly.I know he said no to somnoplasty or R.F.
He email me and wrote he would do submucosal
gloosectomy with plasma surgery. What else he wrote seem
to make it sound real safe.I bought and article by him that he wrote about 2 years ago. I
The artile sure sounded like what he was talking about. And I
assumed it was it.Part of the title of the article said midline posterior
glossectomy for sleep apnea. Also inside the article it said that the primary area to be
excised is posterior oral and hypopharygeal tongue. Local
anesthesia is facilated by bending the injection needle.
Midline rectraction suture shoils be placed as far posteriorly
as possible. After the midline incision is created, 2 lateral traction sutures
are placed, and a plasma wand is used to progressively
excise tissue. Also this doc wants to tie down my tongue with a stich
attachéd to something he would put through the bottom of my
chin. Now I am reading other articles by other surgeons about the
SMILE system for sleep apnea that involve the tongue. What do you think?
