Dear Captin:

You are so wounderful, caring and very intellent as so many
on this site. I guess you have to suffer from this cruel disease
to care.

I asked the MMA surgeon if a full face mask would hurt the
surgery now and he said no. I hope he is right. So far the
auto Cpap has failed and it has been a while. How long did it
take for you to find out it would help you.

Additionally how long did you wait after MMA to try the
CPAP. Did you use a full face mask?

Eyewideopen MMA she wotte did not work for here. But a
trach did. But she hated it.

She said she was planning if I understand (after having a
sleep nasendoscopy) surgeries for an epiglottopexy (with
lazer .. Would that not be hot?) and surgery for Lingual
tonsils (not normal tonsils).

Perhaps I should have a sleep endoscopy.

But in the past the sleep endoscopy said lots of obstructions
and a narrow airway.

This surgeon said first a tongue base surgery. I think with a
midline cut just in the back of the tongue. And then have
tongue base bulk taken out with plasma surgery... Which I
think is also called coblation surgery. I think that is cooler
than Somnoplasty.

Yes, things have really gotten bad. I can not even work.

Also I read about a new procedure called SMILE for sleep
apnea. Have you heard about it?
