Thanks a lot for the details information again. I am waiting for your opinion on comparing RDI before and after. I think people react differently for a same RDI value. I know people who have higher RDI than I have and who feel rested in the morning and good during the day and this is the whole point. RDI is an indicator. That said, for the same person, at almost the same age (ie sleep study done before surgery is done on a little younger person than a sleep study after the surgery), I feel RDI can be compared.
