Unless the Drs can explain why MMA didn't do it for you, they don't have much reason to discount your interest in non-mainstream procedures. If they don't offer you another path, you can't just stay put, so you might have to go directly to the Drs offering them.

Please keep us posted, because this type of situation sometimes ends up being an opportunity to learn something profound.
