I have not heard of anyone loosing teeth to an MMA. I have
heard of people who have had some loose teeth which have
subsequently stabilized. When my surgeon removed my arch
bars, my gums were inflamed; and he prescribed a short course
of Peridex. With that treatment the problem was short lived.
How about having a consult with your dentist/periodentist for
becoming aggressive with your periodontitis now in preparation
for the MMA? I am the last to one minimize all that is involved
with an MMA, and I also know that a plan helps to get unstuck.
