Thanks very much. I talked to my dad again and he said he never told me NOT to do it, only that the procedure seemed horrific to him. So, he will respect and support whatever I choose to do. I realize that "success" is defined of half ahi, but most of the blogs I have read have people with very low ahi afterward. Even to reduce the symptoms is better than nothing, because I definitely cannot use the cpap. It is impossible for me!
