Good ta hear from ya, sorry to hear that news. People understand cancer, not apnea. I have to bite my tongue all the time when i hear of relatives, etc who face a health problem, receive treatment, then get on with their lives 100% cured. They glean a world of attention/understanding/compassion. Of course for us, it not worth spending anymore time than just to say, "Im still kinda tired lately". I remember u work 5 days a week...I feel for you, as I know I cant work near that much. Im glad your on track with LW. and hope the fix is in.
Me, well, I may find out today if UAB orthodontics wil take my case. It is looking like they wont, as they are scared of the case, and dont want to look bad. Isnt that great, this town , full of cutting edge healthcare is what got me where Im at, and now I have to pay some rich suburban a@#$%%%% full price for braces because they wont take my case. Insult to injury. I havent done a thing about contacting any source for help. I did email Dave Ramsey show about the BCBS policy of not payig out of network surgeons, and if Gap Exclusion Coverage was anyting to try. Of course, I never got a reply. I would like to try and contact the Clark Howard show, but i would never get thru. I have just resigned myself to emptying out my savings and doing it. I put off kids in my productive 30's because I was too tired. Then I figured the mma would save me, and when it didnt, i knew kids would be a no go. So I dont have so much money going out as if i did have kids. This is first year that I wont pay myself but half of previous years pay. My business will all but rap up in another 3 years or so. I really am furious that UAB may not give me their services. They should give them to me free for what Ive been thru. Its amazing how time flies... I had the botched mma in 2001. I found out of LW in 2004...and still have sat on the sideline. I really dont know if I should believe in another mma. And with my case, it will be very risky for my voice. I just wish there was someone who had my experience, then got fixed. being the first is not good. Take care, and when is your surgery? Write that pword down hun.
