LAUP 1993, no help, but no damage to voice either.
MMA 2001. No help for osa. Caused severe hypernasality, and VPI (velopharyngeal incompetence). Dysphagia ( swallowing causes liquids to come up) I now have to speak in a falsetto compensatory voice. a comparison of pre-op ceph to post -op ceph reveals NO forward amovement of jaws. One very weird thing...my tongue now contacts closer to my front teeth.
