Dear MMA friends,

I am now at 3 weeks after surgery.

I do not yet look at my sleeping, apnea and snoring problems if they are solved. I am just trying to deal with the pain of the surgery.

I will be grateful if one of you is kind to help me understand what is happening to me. I have two particular issues I want to understand:

1- I have a permanent sensation of my chin and lower lip burning. I looked on the net and the only things I found talk about "paresthesia" saying that it is a bad sign. I really felt bad reading that. But now, I just want to know. Did anyone of you experience such a thing? I mean the whole front part of the chin burning?

2- I have a persistent post-nasal drainage. It is either brown (dry blood, I suppose) or clear. Clearing my nose, it comes some dark red stuff from only one nostril (coagulated blood like). Is that normal after as much 3 weeks?

Thank you for your answers.
