I can relate to the chin pain.

In my case, I had an overpowering sharp pain in a very specific spot on the jaw bone on the right side of my chin. At about 5 weeks, it started to improve, and completely resolved by 10 weeks.

Perc was my pain killer of choice, but left me too foggy. My doctor put me on Neurontin. Together with the passage of time, the Neurontin seemed to help. Eventually, the pain shifted from being sharp to more of the nerve tingle and ultimately faded away.

With regard to the drainage, it gets better as time passes. I would irrigate my sinuses several times each day to help clean things out.
