Three weeks is still the first inning. It was not until 4 months
that I noticed consistent improvement. My nose burned for
many weeks. About 95% of sensation has returned. I still get
post-nasal drainage. Your sinuses are likely filled with blood
still from the surgery. That will slowly resolve. I coughed up
chunks of blood for a good 7 weeks following surgery.

For 3 months I would wake up at 5 am no matter what time I
went to bed. Careful what you read on the internet.

As many would say- tempering your anxiety and fears is the
hardest part of the surgery. And it is easier said then done. But
whether you handle it well or not, time will still pass. I was a
basket case intermittently for many months. I am lucky my
friends and family still speak to me. : ) Although come to
think of it, my parents haven't called me for a couple weeks......

Hang in there.

Brian
