I hate to hear that the ZNS folks are gone - the book on the healing jaw was really good information for preparing for the surgery.

I had the ZNS bags for my post-op period, but honestly, I didn't use them much. They were more trouble than they were worth to me. I was able to drink, gingerly, out of a cup without much mess.

A possible, lower-cost alternative would be a 60cc catheter tip syringe. You doctor might be able to give you a few, get the hospital to give you some before you discharge, or perhaps you can purchase them from a pharmacy. They can be rinsed and reused many times.

Glad you didn't get ripped off.
