It was always a welcome relief for me to see the person post-up on the newsgroup after their MMA. I had promised myself that the day after surgery was going to be a second coming. Here I am.

The first and 2nd days was better than the 3rd and 4th. The half hour drive home from Stanford was a killer. Right now I am taking Oxycondin every 4 hours, also supplementing it with demerol (intramuscular in hospital and now oral at home).

Reading WesternJoe's, Pedals or a few other blogs, I can already tell that my recovery is nowhere going to be as fast as theirs. Here's hoping tomorrow will be a much better day.

BTW, the best part of my hospital stay were visits from Learian, George and Katy. Learian thought I looked handsome, I thought I looked otherwise and she thought I was hardheaded :-) Tony, you should know I feel like a poofhead, not a hardhead!
