Congrats on that theDreamer! Major milestone. Archbar removal was a big improvement for me, but I don't remember having much swelling or cut gums with it. It's been 4 years so I may have dumped that memory.

Anyway, as for GWTS (George Washington Teeth Syndrome :)
This could take a long time, but if it's not back in a year, you might have permanent numbness in certain parts. I have a numb spot on my lower lip about 1cm wide. It will probably never come back, that's the price of sleep and being functional I guess, and I'll take it.
