What type of room humidifier is recommended for sleep apnea patients pre MMA Surgery even though my CPAP has a humidifier?

What type of room humidifier is recommended for sleep apnea patients Post MMA surgery assuming he no longer uses a CPAP?

There are cool mist; warm mist; evaporative; some with wicks; etc.
